Body

Our bodies are the most considered element in health. Our bodies give us pain to tell us something is wrong. We can mask spiritual and emotional problems, but a lack of care for our bodies is obvious to others in terms of weight, skin tone, the way we carry ourselves, and other signs.

There are many ways to care for our bodies. Everyone knows they should eat well and exercise. The problem is that there are many differing opinions on eating well. What works for some people doesn’t work for everyone. It’s important to work toward proper nutrition in a way that meshes with your lifestyle and is food you will enjoy. This isn’t going to happen overnight. Thinking we are going to wake up one morning and eat perfectly from that day on is unrealistic and only makes us feel like failures when it doesn’t happen.

Exercise is also something that’s very personal. Some people like working out in gyms. Other prefer sports and competition. A lot of people would prefer to work out in their own homes. Money and time are considerations in addition to the type of exercise that appeal to you. Again, there isn’t one right answer for everyone. Don’t expect one solution to fit for a lifetime.

Your body works with your emotions and spirituality. These two aspects have the ability to heal and hurt. Don’t neglect them.
